How the eJukebox jukebox works in your venue
eJukebox is a managed music system: a compact player at your venue (or a private stream on Solo), run by your staff from their phones, with customers requesting songs from theirs. No jukebox cabinet required.
- Digital jukebox - set it and forget it, no DJ needed.
- Song requests - customers request songs from their phone, by QR code or the eJukebox Request app.
- eJukebox Admin app - skip, hold and reorder requests, and switch channels from behind the bar.
Music licensing for salons & spas
Australian venues need a OneMusic Australia licence to play recorded music in public, and that licence stays in your name. Because eJukebox is a commercial background music supplier, it changes what OneMusic charges you compared with a personal streaming account: shops and service businesses come off the top tier, and hospitality venues drop the Digital Copy and Delivery add-on. Can a salon play Spotify or Apple Music?
No. Personal streaming accounts like Spotify and Apple Music are licensed for personal use only, and their terms rule out playing them in a business. eJukebox is licensed for business use. Your salon still holds its own OneMusic licence, in your name.
What does music cost for a small salon?

Is the music relaxing enough for treatments?
Choose the channel that suits the room. Every channel is professionally curated, ad-free and talk-free, with no explicit lyrics, and volume-levelled so nothing jumps out mid-treatment.
Can we change the music between treatments?
Yes. Set it once and let it flow, or switch from your phone whenever the mood needs to change.
