The base product

Where every package starts

Always-on, professionally curated music installed on-site at your venue - not streamed down from the cloud. If the internet drops out, the music keeps playing. This is the product itself; everything further down bolts on top of it.

Music isn't background. It's business.

The right music, curated by real Australian music directors, creates genuine warmth the moment your customers walk in - and that warmth is worth real money. Get it wrong and people leave; get it right and they relax, they linger, and they spend. eJukebox is built to get it right every hour of every day, and we can run the whole thing for you.

Always on, even offlineA compact solid-state player lives at your venue and keeps playing through internet dropouts.
Curated by real peopleEvery channel is hand-built by professional music directors, never guessed at by an algorithm.
Right music, right hourDayparting done properly - light mornings, energetic middays, upbeat evenings, scheduled automatically.
Licensed and cleanFully licensed for public play, free of explicit lyrics, and volume-levelled so nothing jumps.

Capacity Included

One channel, one area

Step 3 Add exactly what you want optional - pick as many or as few as you like

Click anywhere on a box to add that feature, and click it again to take it off. The total at the bottom updates as you go, and nothing is ordered until you send it to us. To see what a feature actually does first, press Watch video - each one is about 30 seconds.

Music $29/mo

Guests sign in with Spotify and pick one of their own playlists; every track is fuzzy-matched to your library so they can request it in a tap. Staff can load a whole curated playlist into the queue in one move.

Voice $19/mo

Type a line and a warm, broadcast-quality voice reads it across the room between songs. No microphone, no staff member put on the spot.

Automation $25/mo

Book a typed or recorded message to play itself - daily, on chosen nights, or once. Happy hour, last drinks, trivia night, on flawless autopilot.

Live $29/mo

Any staff phone becomes a professional PA mic in seconds. The music ducks the instant you speak and swells back when you stop.

Live $15/mo

The venue's program audio - with your own voice stripped out - streamed back to your headphones, so you can talk up to the vocal like a radio DJ.

Requires Live Microphone
Interaction $25/mo

Customers record an 8-second shout-out that plays right before their song. Transcribed and profanity-scanned in real time, so it's safe to hand to a full room.

Display $25/mo

When requests go quiet your screen blooms into a branded slideshow - event nights, specials, your logo. A 24/7 billboard you already own.

Works with a screen you already have - just needs a spare HDMI input
Display $59/mo

Your customers send their own photos from their phone straight to your screen - screened automatically, branded with your logo, live in seconds. At the end of the night the whole lot is bundled with their handles and hashtags, ready for you to post.

Requests $39/mo

A wall-mounted touchscreen request booth. Customers walk up, browse the library and pick a song - no phone needed. Same request engine, big-screen sized.

Needs a touchscreen (one-off hardware)
Events $19/mo

Give a function host their own night-only controls - skip, cue the right track, and stop cleanly for the speeches - without pulling staff off the floor.

Save with a bundle Voice Suite - all four voice features for $69/mo Type a Message + Scheduled Announcements + Live Microphone + Live Mic Monitor, bundled. Buying them one by one costs more, so if you want the lot, use the button and we'll apply the cheaper bundle price for you.
Capacity Zones Two zones come standard, and the player we fit already drives up to four - so zones three and four add no hardware cost at all, just the monthly charge. Each extra zone still costs less than a single Soundtrack zone. Need more than 4? That takes a second player, so just talk to us and we'll quote it.

One-off hardware & install

Separate from the monthly price

The monthly prices above are software and service. The kit that makes it work is a one-off cost, priced to cover what it costs us - there's no margin loaded into the hardware. Solo needs none of this, because it streams to a device you already own.

On-site player

The compact mini-PC that lives at the venue, caches your music and keeps playing through internet dropouts. Needed for Core and Complete - it's what makes requests and the rest of the interactive features work. Not used by Solo.

Typically under $500, quoted per venue

Touchscreen

The wall-mounted display for the Interactive Request Screen, and the screen the Photo Slideshow runs on. Only needed if you take those add-ons.

Quoted per venue

Extra zones: no hardware

The player we fit for your first two zones already drives up to four. So zones three and four cost you nothing in hardware - they're a monthly charge only, and there's nothing extra to install.

Included in the player above
Try the whole thing free for 30 days. We install the complete system - hardware and setup covered - and you run it live in your venue for a month with your own customers. Not a demo: the real thing. If you love it, you simply continue.

OneMusic licensing, explained honestly

Separate from what you pay us

This is the part most suppliers gloss over, so here it is straight. Your OneMusic licence is a separate fee you owe regardless of who supplies your music - Spotify, Soundtrack, or us. It is not included in the prices above. What changes depending on your supplier is which tier you land on, and for some venue types that's worth real money.

APRA AMCOS

Represents the songwriters and composers - the underlying song. The "sheet music" copyright.

PPCA

Represents the recording artists and labels - the specific recording you hear. The "recording" copyright.

OneMusic

Bundles both into a single licence, so you deal with one organisation instead of two. Every venue where staff or customers can hear music needs one.

Which scheme applies to you

Hotels, pubs & bars

Your fee is set by a tier based on how many TV screens you have (and whether you run a music system). Six tiers, Sapphire down to Bronze.

TierQualifiesPer year
Sapphire10+ TV screens, any radios & music systems$3,944.48
Diamond7-9 TV screens$2,472.66
Platinum2-6 TV screens$1,412.95
Gold1 TV screen, single music system$618.16
Silver1 TV screen, no music system$235.48
Bronze1 TV screen, 1 radio$153.07

eJukebox counts as a music system, so a venue running us needs Gold or above. Incl. GST; the GST-exclusive part rises with CPI each 1 September. 50% off if you're open under 150 days a year.

Registered clubs

Clubs are charged per member, not by TV count - and Digital Copy/Delivery is already included in that fee.

Background music for clubsPer member / yr
Each member up to 5,000$0.82
Each member over 5,000$0.36
Minimum annual fee$158.96
Digital Copy/DeliveryIncluded

Worked example from OneMusic's own guide: a bowling club with 1,504 members pays $1,233.28/yr for background music - about $103/month - and that figure is the same whether they run Spotify or eJukebox. Live music or DJs where entry is over $40 is charged separately.

Retail & service

Here the tier is driven by your music source, so changing supplier genuinely drops the tier. Rates shown for the smallest 1-50 m² area.

TierApplies toPer year
GoldPersonal streaming (Spotify, Apple Music)$641.94
SilverCommercial supplier / CD / radio$183.41
Silver LiteAs Silver, single device$171.94
BronzeFree-to-air radio or TV only$100.07

A shop on Spotify sits on Gold at $641.94. On a commercial supplier like eJukebox it drops to Silver at $183.41 - a genuine saving of about $458/yr, before you count the product at all.

The honest read what leaving Spotify actually saves

Venue typeOn SpotifyOn eJukeboxLicence saving / yr
Pub / bar Tier by TV count + Digital Copy/Delivery $470.98 Same tier, no Digital Copy/Delivery ~$471
Retail / shop Gold tier (e.g. $641.94 at 1-50 m²) Silver tier (e.g. $183.41) ~$458
Registered club Per-member fee (Digital Copy/Delivery included) Same per-member fee $0 - no licence saving
We'd rather you heard this from us than found out later. For pubs and shops, switching off Spotify is a real, documented OneMusic saving. For a registered club it saves you nothing on the licence - clubs pay per member regardless of supplier, and Digital Copy/Delivery is already bundled in. If you're a club, the reasons to move are compliance and the product, not a discount on your licence. And to be straight about it: eJukebox costs more per month than a consumer Spotify subscription. The licence saving offsets much of that gap for a pub or a shop - it doesn't make us cheaper outright.
The one thing that isn't a grey area. Consumer Spotify's own terms forbid commercial and public use, so a venue cannot legally run it - no matter what it pays OneMusic. OneMusic says so in writing: “Even with our licence, the use of digital music streaming services by you in your business may be in breach of the terms and conditions of your end user agreement with that service.” A OneMusic licence covers the music rights; it can't override your contract with Spotify.
Why we're a licensed supplier and Spotify isn't. eJukebox holds the upstream Australian licences a compliant background-music supplier needs: AMCOS (reproduction of the musical works), ARIA (reproduction of the sound recordings, jukebox licence), and APRA + PPCA for public performance and webcasting - plus registration as a jukebox operator under the MIPI/MRA code of conduct. That's what makes a venue playing eJukebox a venue using a commercial background music supplier, which is what drops the Digital Copy/Delivery add-on and the retail tier.
OneMusic rates on this page are taken from OneMusic Australia's own published agreements and guides and include GST, current as at the 2025-26 licence period. They're indexed to CPI each 1 September. Your exact fee depends on your venue - we'll work it out with you, and for pubs and clubs we can collect and remit it on your behalf. How we compare

Verifiable facts only

The nearest comparison is Soundtrack Your Brand - Spotify's commercial arm. They do background music well, and we won't pretend otherwise: big licensed catalogue, playlist scheduling, multi-site management, offline playback. Where we differ is everything that happens after the music starts playing.

“Soundtrack plays music at your customers. eJukebox lets your customers be part of the night - request songs, hear their shout-out on the big system, feel at home - professionally curated by Australians, for about the same money once you count every zone.”

Soundtrack is priced per zone, so the comparison depends entirely on how many zones you run: at three or four zones we're competitive or cheaper while doing far more. Their published rates are roughly $55/zone (Essential) to $85-95/zone (Unlimited) in AUD, billed annually, and higher billed monthly - but always get a current quote from them rather than relying on our number. Feature comparisons here are limited to things you can verify yourself.

Two more things, outside the menu

The menu above covers what nearly every venue needs. These two sit either side of it - one is free, and one is built from scratch for you.

Have a listen first - free

Before you decide anything, hear what our music directors actually build. Four channels, streaming right now, no sign-up and no card.

  • Hits - current chart and recent favourites
  • Smooth - relaxed, easy, good for daytime
  • Rock - classic through to modern
  • Country - Australian and international

These demo streams carry eJukebox branding and promos, so they are for listening rather than for playing in your venue - but the sound and the programming are exactly what you would get.

Custom Branded Radio

For groups, shopping centres and large clubs that want their own station rather than a subscription - think Coles Radio, but yours.

  • Your own branded station, one to four channels
  • Professional voice-overs and imaging, plus national, regional or venue-specific promos
  • Dedicated infrastructure and priority support
  • Option to stream publicly on iHeartRadio, your website or your app
  • Built for multi-site groups and RSL clubs, including the automated 6pm ode and silence
